Welcome to the ACT for UHC dashboard!
This dashboard provides access to the evidence needed to track the implementation of key commitments adopted in the Political Declaration of the 2023 United Nations General Assembly high-level meeting on universal health coverage (UHC). It is part of UHC2030’s Global UHC Action Tracker (ACT for UHC), an accountability approach that seeks to answer the question: Are countries acting on their commitments to UHC?
Dashboard structure
The dashboard is organized into three sections:

Member States adopted SDG Target 3.8 – Achieve universal health coverage, including financial risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for all by 2030. This section looks at progress on SDG indicators 3.8.1 and 3.8.2.

Because UHC implementation is affected by each country’s particular contexts and needs, the dashboard includes contextual factors to enable more accurate interpretation of progress, challenges and policy priorities.

This section provides indicators to assess progress on some key commitments made by Member States in the 2023 UN Political Declaration on UHC, grouped into the eight action areas of the Action Agenda from the UHC Movement.
